Not only is it fun to give these goodies away, but the process of making them is also joyful, especially when combined with Christmas music and a glass of wine 😊

I remember feeling like we had to get my son’s first Christmas exactly right so that we could replicate it forever - way too much pressure. We’re in our 8th Christmas with kids and some things have stayed, others haven’t, and we know there’s always room to add more if/when it works.

It’s so hard to hold things loosely—I had a mild freakout recently when I realized we didn’t make it to the same pumpkin patch that we did when my son was an infant… even though we went to a different (and even better) one this year. 🫠 So I need a lot of reminders! Ha.
